The Albino Retic is a striking morph of Lissachatina reticulata, noted for its pale, creamy body and faintly patterned shell with reticulated textures. As part of the giant African land snail species, it offers a unique aesthetic and calm temperament. Friendly, fast-growing, and quieter than other giant snails, this species makes for a delightful pet. Adults typically reach 10–15 cm in shell length, with some growing towards 18 cm under optimal conditions.

• Temperature & Humidity: Maintain 26–27 °C and 70–80% relative humidity
• Housing: Secure, ventilated enclosure with deep, moist substrate; include shallow water dish (deep enough to mist but not drown)
• Diet: Fresh leafy greens, vegetables, occasional fruit, plus calcium (cuttlefish bone or crushed eggshells) plus protein e.g. fish flakes/ raw meat
• Growth & Behaviour: Reaches adult size in ~6–12 months; albino retics are gentle, inquisitive, and adapted to room temperature environments
